SRK and Salman, Famous Bollywood actors reunited in friendship

They are the new BFFs in B-town today. Yes, we are talking about the once dushman now-dost FamousBollywood actors, Salman and Shah Rukh. On November 19, the badshah had hosted a party for Coldplay after the Brit band's MMRDA concert, and Bhai had turned up after his shoot at around 1 am.

A week later, after SRK's new film opened in the theatres, Salman took to Twitter to urge everyone to go catch the flick even as he promoted anti-obesity day, to which, SRK responded, "Will come over and do a workout before the biryani."

Two days later, when SRK returned from a work trip late at night, the first thing he heard was that there was a gathering of buddies at Salman’s Bandra residence. It was post-midnight but instead of going back home to sleep at his heritage bungalow, Mannat, the insomniac Khan drove directly to Sallu's Galaxy apartment to chill with him, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala and Suneil Shetty. He left only around 3.15 am.

It was an impromptu get-together after Salman got back from Kabir Khan's 'Tubelight' shoot with a few friends from the production team. Famous Bollywood actors Suniel and Sajid had casually dropped by and Shah Rukh joined them. They gorged on delicious home-made food with a few drinks.

Their conversation ranged from movies to each other's lives. At one point they were discussing Suniel's son Ahan who will be launched by Sajid. Ahan is presently prepping up in London.

The next evening, the two were in chat mode again, this time online, looking for a title for SRK's next, featuring Anushka Sharma and directed by Imtiaz Ali. Till now, everyone had been referring to the film as 'The Ring', till 'committed' Sallu decided to put his army of fans to work and ring in a new one for his bestie.

Insanely ridiculous awards given to famous Bollywood actors.

Katrina Kaif is a loved and cherished actress of Indian film industry. The actress known for her addictive smile, infectious charm and killer dance moves, is equally unequipped with skills of acting. Her fans are generous to overlook this setback though, and we are all game for her movie any day. But being nominated for a Smita Patil Award is a mistake on an all different level.

Katrina kaif, recently alarmed everyone, when she announced of her winning the Smita Patil award for her contribution to Bollywood. The tweet soon turned into a Breaking Bollywood actor’s news,with tweets trolling on ‘her contribution to Indian film industry’ by hysterical Twitteratis. However alarming this award might seem, this is not the first time such a blunder has been made by award givers. Below are a few reminders:

Remember the romantic-slightly comic movie of young Saif opposite Rani, in which he played a cartoonist and flaunted his messy hair style? Yes, this was the movie that he was awarded the national best actor award for. Not for Langda Tyagi neigther for Parineeta’s Shekhar, the actor won the award for a rather frothy film, at the most opportune time when the head of the jury was none other than her mother Sharmila Tagore. Need we say any further?

Parineeti Chopra’s style Icon of the year award -2015

Now this is some really heavily contested award. Parineeti bagged this award, leaving behind some really sought after and famous Bollywood actors of likes, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor. This young Chopra sister, got this award, literally for just losing weight. We do not mean to undermine anyone’s hard work, but come on juries, Adnan Sami should be getting this award. No?

SRK’s famous – Global International Icon Superstar of the Universe Award.

Shah Rukh Khan is a charmer and his stardom in India at least is unparalleled. But, there should be a limit to which award show organizers should be allowed to kiss someone’s ass. Just look at the title we mean, ‘Superstar of the Universe’, why not just call him a god and build him a shrine.

Abhishek Bachchan’s – award for most public appearances in 12 hours

We never got told that boarding most number of flights can get you an award as well as a Guiness World Record. The actor made Bollywood news and gossip , for shuttling between 7 cities in 12 hours for the promotion of his movie Dilli 6. Like seriously, is there anything that is more insane. No wonder, no one is concerned for an Academy award, why care right?
