The Jodhpur High court in Rajasthan, is supposed to pronounce its verdict
in the chinkara and blackbuck poaching cases
related to Famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan today.
Famous
Bollywood actor Salman Khan was sentenced to one and five years' imprisonment, correspondingly, in the two distinct
cases of poaching, by the lower court. Challenging the lower court’s verdict
Salman had appealed before the high court.
While the hearing in both the cases was concluded in the last week of
May, the decision was reserved by the high court. In case, the high court
upholds the lower court's verdict, he will be sent to Jodhpur central jail
again. Salman has been lodged in Jodhpur jail earlier too.

that Salman Khan and several others were accused of killing a blackbuck
and Chinkara in two separate incidents. One of the animals was reported to have
been killed at Ghoda Farms on September 28, 1998 and the other
was shot at Bhawad on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998. The
incidents took place at the time of the shooting for the feature "Hum Sath
Sath Hain".
